I am a woman who defied the odds of a tough childhood.  Growing up in the NYC foster care system from the ages of 5 to 11 years old, then experiencing being homeless, dropping out of high school and becoming a mother at the age of 14.  Being Generation X, we were put through the ringer but we survived, well I survived... Since then, I was able to complete my GED, go to college (I didn't graduate) but I did go on to have a successful career.  The best part of all, I was blessed with 4 wonderful children, and although they're all grown and on their own, I found myself searching for purpose.

During the pandemic, I started making handmade candles and what began as a way to fill my days has blossomed into a thriving business.  Today, I proudly offer handmade candles, room sprays, soap, lotion and sugar scrubs as well as a small men's line which includes our famous "Adam's Badass Beard Oil", which is named after my youngest son.

All of my products are handmade in small batches from scratch in my Stamford, CT home.  Formulated with high quality responsibly sourced oils, butters and phthalate free fragrances and all-natural essential oils.

My story may have had a tough start, but I worked hard to break the cycle of negative expectations.  I wanted to be more than a statistic, more than a product of my circumstances, and I'm proud to say that I am.  Today, I'm living proof that no matter where you come from, with resilience and determination, you can rewrite your own narrative.
